The fabric used to create this bag is an Indigo Batik from the Hmong region in Vietnam. The fabric is a heavy cotton and the print is created by applying hot wax to the motif designed, and then you dye over it with real indigo dyes. The fabric has been pre washed, but you should always still be careful when using real indigo as some light crocking could still occur. This is why we fall in love with the color and richness that it brings to the fabric and the subtle fading that occurs over time.
The bottom portion of the bag is pieced with Japanese selvage denim.
The interior of the bag is lined with a light weight denim fabric. There is an interior pocket with a zipper closure, made from linen chambray fabric.
Shoulder straps are made from brown 8oz. bridle leather and secured with solid copper rivets.
Tote measures 17" wide X 17" tall and 3 1/2" deep
Straps have an 8 1/2" drop
